We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated full-time History teacher for grades 9-12 for the 2025-2026 academic year. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and exhibit a progressive, multidisciplinary, and collaborative approach in the classroom. The successful candidate will:
Demonstrate expertise in historical practice and a rich knowledge of specialized content area Be willing to teach a range of history courses in grades 9-12 Differentiate instruction based on feedback, needs, and learning levels Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and willingness to collaborate and communicate readily with colleagues Communicate effectively with students and families about student progress Identify and support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral learning needs Engage actively in school life by participating in clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach 4 classes
Act as an advisor Support the School’s activities program Rotate through supervisory duties, such as detention, dismissal, study hall, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
