We are seeking a full-time science teacher to teach introductory level chemistry,
biology, or physics courses and an advanced level environmental science course beginning
August 2024.
Qualified candidates will possess strong aptitude in teaching a variety of science topics and have a background in curricular design and pedagogical innovation. Candidates are expected to have a willingness and ability to use differentiated instruction in the classroom and work collaboratively with the teaching team.
A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.

science teachers utilize a student-centered pedagogy and a laboratory-based science curriculum that makes extensive use of technology.
Teachers are expected to be on campus from 7:45 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. Responsibilities include teaching, serving as an advisor for a group of 8-10 students, attending regular department, division, and faculty meetings, and working closely
and collaboratively with grade level colleagues.
Additional duties may be assigned. Salaries are competitive, based on experience and include a full benefits package including professional development.
All faculty are involved in the life of the school through a variety of means such as leading a club, coaching a sport, or serving on a committee.
Additionally, community members attend school functions, including but not limited to chapel and cathedral services, assemblies, and special events.
